| Purpose: | Jefferson Search and Rescue is a Washington non-profit corporation. Volunteer members are dedicated to search and rescue as well as public education services for the people of Jefferson County and the entire Olympic Peninsula. JSAR also lends mutual aid throughout the state of Washington. Since its founding in 1976, JSAR members have contributed thousands of hours in community service, searches, and rescues and demanding training missions designed to give members the skills required by state and national rescue agencies. Many JSAR members have training will above and beyond national standards. JSAR members are trained in both urban and remote searches and rescues. We work closely with both law enforcement and fire departments in all of our missions to provide the highest care level possible. |
